The Municipality of Karlovo, in partnership with the Youth Information Center in Karlovo, hosted a delegation of eight representatives from the Municipality of Kolbudy, Poland, within the framework of an Erasmus+ project focused on developing future partnerships and international cooperation between the two municipalities.
The visit included official meetings, educational exchanges, cultural activities, and discussions about future joint initiatives involving young people, teachers, and cultural professionals. During their stay, the Polish delegation met with representatives of the Municipality of Karlovo, visited “Vasil Levski” Secondary School to learn more about the Bulgarian education system and STEM learning environment, and explored the rich cultural and historical heritage of the region.
The project was organised with the objective of strengthening international cooperation, promoting intercultural dialogue, and creating opportunities for youth mobility and educational exchange between Bulgaria and Poland. Through meetings with local institutions and community representatives, participants exchanged good practices, shared experiences, and discussed possibilities for future collaboration in education, culture, and youth work.
The delegation also experienced local traditions and nature by visiting the“Old Karlovo”Complex and the Suchurum Waterfall. As part of the cultural exchange, the Youth Information Center in Karlovo presented its Erasmus+ activities and youth initiatives,including the “Colorful Mail” campaign.
