The Egyptian Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation was established as part of the wider Euro-Mediterranean partnership framework following the creation of the Anna Lindh Foundation in 2004, which aims to promote dialogue between cultures across the region. In Egypt, the network was formed to serve as a national platform bringing together diverse stakeholders committed to intercultural dialogue, social cohesion, and inclusive development.
Over the years, the network has grown significantly in both size and impact, expanding to include over 240 member organizations representing civil society, academia, research institutions, and cultural actors from across the country. The presidency of the network is currently held by Supportive Homeland Foundation for Development, under the official endorsement of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
