The Afdal Society for Community Development in Assiut was registered on July 26, 2018. It has a board of directors and a highly experienced team in managing development projects. It has a vision for positive change and a mission through which we strive to achieve positive change in the lives of individuals, especially marginalized groups, through awareness, empowerment, building partnerships with governmental and non-governmental organizations, and mobilizing local community resources. We are governed by the values of responsibility, excellence, transparency, and teamwork. We have an orientation towards protecting and preserving the environment, addressing climate change, and agricultural development, especially in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants. We own an oil extraction unit and a unit for processing and sifting medicinal and aromatic plants to increase product quality and add value to crops.
Mission and Objectives
رؤية الجمعية : بناء مجتمع متساوى تتاح فيه كافه الفرص والحقوق لكل من النساء والرجال ،حيث يكون للمرأة دور فعال ورائد فى التنميه علي الصعيد الاجتماعي والاقتصادي والثقافي مع الحفاظ علي حقوق الاجيال القادمة.
رسالة الجمعية: نحن جمعية أفضل للتنمية بأسيوط نسعي لتحقيق تغيير ايجابي في حياة الفرد خاصة الفئات المهمشة, ونحرص على تمكين المرأة وتعزيز المساواه بن الجنسين, ونعمل على تعزيز ثقافه الاحترام المتبادل والمشاركه الفعاله لجميع افراد المجتمع، مما يسهم فى بناء بيئه مجتمعيه عادله ومستدامه من خلال التوعية والتمكين وبناء الشراكات مع المنظمات الحكومية وغير الحكومية وتعبئة موارد المجتمع المحلي, وتحكمنا قيم المسئولية والتميز والشفافية والعمل الجماعي.

أغراض وأهداف الجمعية:
1) النهوض بالمجتمع المحلي بكافة جوانب الحياة لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
2) التمكين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي للفئات المهمشة مثل المرأة وصغار المزارعين وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.
3) رعاية الطفولة والامومة وتقديم الخدمات الصحية وتنظيم الاسرة.
4) حماية البيئة والمحافظة عليها, والتصدي للتغيرات المناخية, والتنمية الزراعية, واعادة تدوير المخلفات الزراعية.
5) خلق فرص عمل للشباب من الجنسين من خلال تنفيذ مشروعات تنموية, والتمويل متناهي الصغر.
