In 2024, Al-Urjuwan Social Association, in partnership with GIZ and INJAZ Lebanon, implemented the Smart Energy – Catalyst Program, targeting 15 youth participants. The program focused on providing specialized training in the circular and green economy, equipping young people with practical knowledge and innovative tools to contribute to sustainable solutions within their communities. This initiative aimed to foster youth-led engagement in promoting renewable energy practices, efficient resource management, and advancing Lebanon’s transition toward a circular economy.
During the period between 2024 and 2025, Aspire implemented a series of interventions and programs aimed at responding quickly to the needs of affected communities, enhancing social cohesion, and building resilience in the face of crises.
In 2024-2025, Trainer:ASPIRE the association launched its program under the slogan "Towards Peace," which focused on work in two community centers, benefiting more than 1,000 displaced individuals. The program included various activities such as psychosocial sessions, sports for development, food and clothing distribution, as well as personal care services (such as haircuts and skin cleaning), in addition to installing lighting and providing drinking water. The program also prioritized referrals and psychological first aid services, along with organizing community theater as a means of collective recovery and building trust. This intervention represented an emergency response during the war, contributing to meeting basic needs and enhancing the spirit of solidarity.
In 2025, Trainer: ASPIRE the association focused on its new program titled "Support My Protection," which reached more than 4,000 beneficiaries. This program was characterized by the implementation of psychosocial support sessions and health and fitness training for children, emphasizing sports as a tool to enhance resilience. Interactive theater was organized, food and food rations were distributed, and dialogue sessions were held among community members. The goal of this program was to support mental health and improve access to food, considering them among the top priorities during this critical phase.
