Academic Publishing House is a private owner’s company focused on publishing books on various aspects of culture, history, languages, religion and contemporary issues of oriental countries. It employs 7 stuff members and cooperate closely with about 30 people (translators, editors, consultants, illustrators and others). The majority of its publications are academic textbooks co-financed by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education which remains the primary source of subventions.Mission and Objectives
Since 1992 we publish books on various aspects of Asian and African cultures, their languages, religions, history and contemporary issues. Our authors are distinguished Polish and foreign philologists as well as specialists in Asian and African problems. Special attention is devoted to the rich literary heritage to those regions - we publish translations of Asian and African masterpieces. Our mission is to establish dialogue with African and Asian cultures, countries and its people. Among our publications one can find books translated from and into Arabic language, translation from Hebrew, books for learning languages and many others.Main Projects / Activities
