We seek solutions to remove barriers to education, participation and greater autonomy for young people around the world. Our activities include capacity building for NGOs seeking to improve access to education and civic participation for school-age youth.Mission and Objectives
Mission Our mission is to promote access to education, inclusion and participation for marginalised and at-risk groups (including women, children and migrants). Description Access Lab is a non-governmental organisation with expertise in education and training. We explore causes of low access to school education in different countries of the world and communicate these stories. We also help local leaders (municipalities and NGOs) to find solutions to remove barriers to education, participation and greater autonomy for young people. Access Lab provides training and capacity building and partners local organisations for projects aiming to improve access.Main Projects / Activities
- Teacher policies in Central and Eastern Europe, Western Balkans, South Caucasus, Central Asia (main partner Network of Education Policy Centres) (2013) - Capacity building for civil society actors in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan (2014) - Development of Teacher training course "Being Different, Being Human" (2014) for NEPC summer school "Education and Social Justice"How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
