We are one of the oldest aid and development organizations operating in Albania, active since 1993 with projects in social support, emergency support and education. Until now ADRA Albania has operated in different areas of the country thus targeting different Roma and non-Roma communities. ADRA Albania is part of the International Network of ADRA organizations that is composed of 130 NGOs around the world.
Mission and Objectives
The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is the global humanitarian organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Through an international network, ADRA delivers relief and development assistance to individuals in more than 130 countries—regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, or religious association. By partnering with communities, organizations, and governments, ADRA is able to improve the quality of life of millions.

Main Projects / Activities
Education is a common denominator for all project of our organization. Through supplementary classes on literacy and numeracy and social classes we empower children with learning difficulties in schools of Kruja region and suburbs of Tirana since 2013. Besides that, ADRA Albania closely cooperates with the local administrations units and builds capacities of social workers, child protection unit workers and school staff in field of human rights and child protection.

We work with schools, family members, children, social services and health staff in order to achieve a significant and a positive change.
We seek to affect the lives of the communities and people in need thus the major work is focused in this field.
For example:
We integrated 423 children from Roma, Egyptian and Albanian marginalized groups into school.
We build capacities of 86 school teachers and 7 social workers of Kruja region.
We empowered 3 youth activist groups passionate about making their community a better place to live.
