AFS Intercultural Programs (or AFS, originally the American Field Service) is an international youth exchange organization. It is an international voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world

Mission and Objectives

AFS efforts aim to nurture the values and capacities for intercultural dialogue and active global citizenship. The AFS Framework for Active Global Citizenship reinforces our commitment to developing interculturally competent active global citizens.

AFS Youth Mobility Programs and Training Active Citizens.
