Akrata's Philarmonic orchestra is an organization in which young people be teach music, learn how to communicate and collaborate with other people. There are two sections, the band and the chorus and right now attend about 100 students. There are also workshops, seminars and concerts in which students participate. The money that the organization needs are found from members subscriptions, events and sponsorships from the government and the municipality.Mission and Objectives
Organization’s most important mission is to be the place that young people be teach the music and general be part of topical culture. Music is a healthy way to live and some of these students have already be musicians and play for bands or they are music teachers, like our maestro. Also we try to teach them how to collaborate with members of other bands and learn new cultures.Main Projects / Activities
We organize concerts, workshops, seminars and festivals in which the members of the band and the chorus are participate. We also participate to events for local history, religious and cultural events.
