I am a Syrian stand up comedian, writer, podcaster and actor. I am based in The Netherlands, but I have been performing Arabic stand up comedy allover Europe for the last 3 years. I also have 2 podcasts which have produced over than 150 episodes combined. I also teach stand up comedy, and my comedy workshops have helped 49 comedians to start their careers in Arabic stand up comedy in Europe. I am independent with no sources of funding. in 2023, I want to continue with my podcasts, my comedy school and my comedy tour to help create an Arabic comedy scene in Europe.
Mission and Objectives
I have given Arabic comedy workshops in 4 European cities; Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels and Cologne. The plan for 2023 is to expand the network of comedy workshops and increase the number of Arabic working comedians and create an Arabic stand up comedy scene. Continue producing my podcasts "Tak Tak podcast" and "Qatch wa Lahch" which bring a new spontaneous flavour to the Arabic podcast sphere. Tour more European cities with my Arabic comedy shows to help open conversations about liberal ideas and concepts.
