Art. 2 – Statute
The social promotion association is governed by this statute and operates in compliance with Legislative Decree No. 117 of 3 July 2017 and subsequent amendments, its implementing provisions, regional law, and the general principles of the legal system.
The Assembly may resolve to adopt implementing regulations of the statute in order to govern more specific organizational aspects.

Art. 3 – Effectiveness of the Statute
Members of the association are required to comply with this statute; it constitutes the fundamental rule governing the conduct of the association’s activities.

Art. 4 – Interpretation of the Statute
The statute shall be interpreted according to the rules applicable to contracts and in accordance with the criteria set out in Article 12 of the preliminary provisions to the Civil Code.

Art. 5 – Purpose and Activities
The association exclusively or primarily carries out one or more activities of general interest for the pursuit, on a non-profit basis, of civic, solidarity-based, and socially useful objectives.

The activities it intends to carry out, mainly in favor of its members, their families, or third parties, making predominant use of the voluntary work of its members, are:

d) education, instruction and vocational training, pursuant to Law No. 53 of 28 March 2003, as amended, as well as cultural activities of social interest with educational purposes;

f) activities for the protection and enhancement of cultural heritage and landscape, pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 42 of 22 January 2004, as amended;

i) organization and management of cultural, artistic, or recreational activities of social interest, including publishing activities, for the promotion and dissemination of culture, volunteerism, and the activities of general interest referred to in this article.

The Association, which is non-profit, pursues the promotion, practice, development, and dissemination of cultural and artistic activities in the fields of cinema and theatre, exclusively for solidarity purposes in the areas of education, training, and the promotion of culture and art, with the aim of offering opportunities for socialization and stimulating cognitive, emotional, and social potential, with a view to well-being and harmonious development.

To this end, the association may:

propose, organize, and manage cultural activities carried out through workshops related to theatre, music, singing, expressive visual arts, and creative/manual arts, in public or private schools as well as in suitable venues and public or private events;
promote children’s education, also in collaboration with other entities, through the organization and management of foreign language workshops, play centers, theatre schools, and early childhood educational services;
promote, organize, and manage entertainment activities and parties for children; encourage the training of socio-cultural operators and early childhood educators to expand knowledge of theatre and the arts in general, through contacts with individuals, entities, and associations;
broaden the educational horizons of educators, teachers, social workers, and parents in the theatrical field, so that they may transmit a love for theatre and the arts as a personal good and a social value; act as a meeting and gathering place based on cultural interests, fulfilling a social function of human and civic growth through the ideal of lifelong education;
conduct studies, research, and documentation in the artistic and musical fields on its own behalf and in collaboration with other entities with similar aims; organize conferences, seminars, debates, exhibitions, courses, lessons, and other national and international cultural events on education and training;
promote, organize, and manage—also in collaboration with other entities—artistic, theatrical (including the organization and promotion of performances and stage design), musical, recreational, and cultural activities in general; carry out concert, theatrical, radio, television, recording, literary, cinematographic, and scenographic production, both on its own behalf and on behalf of third parties;
create a meeting place for members in their leisure time to foster cultural exchange, with particular regard to music, folklore, visual arts, cinema, and theatre;
manage multipurpose centers aimed at the use of leisure time;
organize trips and other recreational and competitive activities to meet the educational and cultural needs of members, providing leisure and relaxation.

The association may also carry out, pursuant to Article 6 of the Third Sector Code, activities other than those of general interest, provided they are secondary and instrumental to the latter, according to criteria and limits defined by a specific ministerial decree. Their identification is entrusted to the governing body.

The association may also carry out fundraising activities in compliance with the principles of truthfulness, transparency, and fairness towards supporters and the public, in accordance with Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 117/2017.
