Apprendre L’anglais is a non-profit educational organization based in Marseille, France. It combines language learning, intercultural dialogue, and sustainability education to empower young people and educators. The organization has long-standing experience in Erasmus+ and international cooperation, providing youth exchanges, work placements, and teacher training opportunities that promote social inclusion, environmental awareness, and sustainable values.
Mission and Objectives
Apprendre L’anglais empowers young people through education, sustainability, and intercultural dialogue. It aims to connect language learning with environmental awareness and social responsibility. The organization promotes inclusion, equality, and respect for cultural and natural diversity. It integrates Sustainable Development Goals into all educational activities. Main Projects / Activities
Apprendre L’anglais carries out Erasmus+ and Anna Lindh Foundation projects combining youth work, sustainability, and education. It has organized youth exchanges, training courses, and environmental workshops in France and abroad. The project “Be Attractive, Don’t Be Addicted” promoted healthy and sustainable lifestyles among young people. “Ne lisez pas, analysez en profondeur!” improved media literacy and critical thinking across Europe. The organization also runs work placements, teacher shadowing, and French language immersion programs. Its Green Skills for Youth initiative promotes recycling, zero waste, and circular economy principles. Together with Old School Green Association (Turkey), it co-organized “Bridging Cultures: Sustainable Dialogues” under the Anna Lindh Foundation, fostering intercultural understanding and environmental awareness. Local activities in Marseille include eco-literacy sessions, cultural exchange events, and youth sustainability workshops. Apprendre L’anglais integrates creativity, digital tools, and environmental learning into all its programs. Each action strengthens cooperation, sustainability, and dialogue among Euro-Mediterranean youth communities.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
Apprendre L’anglais can actively contribute to the Anna Lindh Foundation Network in France by connecting environmental education with intercultural dialogue and youth empowerment. Based in Marseille, the organization is strategically positioned to host and facilitate Euro-Mediterranean cooperation activities. Through its experience in Erasmus+ and Anna Lindh projects, it can organize workshops, language exchanges, and green learning initiatives that promote mutual understanding and sustainable living. Apprendre L’anglais aims to strengthen collaboration between civil society organizations, youth groups, and educators by creating inclusive spaces for dialogue and creativity.
