Ara en Moviment es una asociacion sin animo de lucro que genera sinergias entre artistas, workshops formaciones, así como proyectos muy especificos artisticos del cuerpo y la danza como herramienta de transformacion social.
Mission and Objectives
Fomentar las artes vivas, escénicas y plásticas como herramientas para la transformación personal y social.
Introducir el despertar somático en el sistema educativo.
Difundir, desarrollar y promover el Contact Improvisación como práctica y lenguaje.
Apoyar y generar propuestas para enriquecer el tejido cultural.
Visibilizar, priorizar y fomentar el lugar que ocupa la mujer en el terreno artístico y profesional.
Dar especial importancia al género, la inclusión y la diversidad.
Desarrollar una pedagogía propia que se asiente en una conciencia íntegra del Ser.
Investigar transversalmente para producir y ofrecer un material de formación propio.
Fomentar el intercambio cultural a nivel internacional y potenciar la actividad local.
Main Projects / Activities
• Dansa Jove Project – 5th Consecutive Year
Performance and Transformation at Instituto Baix Montseny
Integrated within the Physical Education curriculum for an entire trimester, this project engages nearly 100 teenagers each year in the collective creation of a performance.
Directed by Alba Raventós.
• Porque Yo lo Bailo
A gender-focused dance project for women over 65, based in Montseny.
Directed by Anahí Maraval.
• Arts Assembly – Multicultural Decolonial Performance
A collaborative performance featuring four artists: one Egyptian, one Jordanian, one Sicilian, and one Catalan.
An exploration of cultural identity and artistic exchange.
• My Body is a Woman
A research project by Kat Rampickova and Alba Raventós exploring dance as a tool for social transformation among young people.
It asks: How did Francoism and Communism impose oppression on women’s bodies? And what must we remember in order to learn a new body, a new future?
• Somatic Training
New bodily and social educations for dance and critical thinking.
Led by Alba Raventós.
• Contact Improvisation
Led by Uma Maraval.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
I can contribute to the Network in my country by fostering connections between dance, education, and social transformation. Through my ongoing projects — such as Dansa Jove, Porque Yo lo Bailo, and My Body is a Woman — I work directly with diverse communities: young people, elderly women, and multicultural groups. These initiatives use dance as a language for empowerment, dialogue, and healing.
Within the Network, I can:
Facilitate collaborations between artists, educators, and institutions who share an interest in body-based pedagogies and community engagement.
Share methodologies of somatic and participatory dance practices that encourage inclusion and critical reflection.
Organize exchange projects and workshops linking international artists with local communities in Catalonia and across Spain.
Promote visibility for socially engaged and decolonial dance practices emerging from our region, especially those led by women.
My goal is to help the Network become a living platform — where artistic creation, education, and social change meet to build more conscious and connected communities.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
I want to join the Anna Lindh Foundation Network because its mission deeply resonates with my work in using dance and body-based practices as tools for dialogue, education, and social transformation. The Foundation’s commitment to intercultural exchange and understanding between the peoples of the Mediterranean aligns with my artistic and social goals: to create spaces where diversity becomes a source of creativity, empathy, and collective growth.
Through projects such as Dansa Jove, Porque Yo lo Bailo, and Arts Assembly, I have experienced how movement and shared artistic processes can bridge cultural, generational, and gender divides. Joining the ALF Network would allow me to connect these local initiatives in Catalonia and Spain to a broader Mediterranean context — learning from others while contributing my experience in somatic and participatory methodologies.
I see the Network as a community of changemakers, and I would like to be part of this ecosystem to co-create projects, exchange practices, and amplify the role of art and culture in building more inclusive and peaceful societies.
