General Information

Launched in 2018, AAUP Radio is a station dedicated to providing social, national, and academic content. It aims to strengthen Palestinian national identity through meaningful programming, shedding light on community initiatives and embracing talents from various groups, including youth, children, and women, across different sectors, to amplify their voices to the public.
The radio broadcasts on 97.1 FM in Jenin and Ramallah, as well as online and through its official Facebook page. It provides a platform for discussing topics of public interest by hosting experts and decision-makers. While maintaining a balanced approach to political issues, the station also offers analytical discussions on current events, relying on a team of specialized academics. Additionally, it broadcasts hourly news bulletins.

Mission and Objectives

Mission:
AAUP Radio strives to bridge the gap between media theory and practical application by delivering professional and comprehensive content that aligns with the needs of the community. The station leverages modern technology and social media platforms to reach its audience and expand its influence, with a focus on education, awareness, and addressing the concerns of marginalized groups.
Objectives:
•Addressing community issues to support sustainable development and serve the public.
•Advocating for the rights of youth and women by discussing their issues within the Palestinian national and social context.
•Providing practical training opportunities for university students in the media field to enhance their professional skills.
•Highlighting culture and literature as a means to promote Palestinian cultural identity.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

We broadcast in Jenin and Ramallah, and we have a wide listener base. Through feedback, we can spread more awareness and culture that serves the various sectors in our society, most notably societal and environmental issues.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

By joining the network, we aspire to present our knowledge in the field of societal, academic and environmental issues, especially since we rely on academics at the university to spread culture and knowledge. We also look forward to benefiting from the network’s various programs around the world to present them to our dear audience.
