The Archaeological State Collection in Munich has a collection of artefacts representing central European and Mediterranean Arts and Archaeology. We have about 60 employees responsible for the main collection and 8 daughter museums in Bavaria. The budgetary provided by the state is fixed to different sectors of our work (conservation, research, museum work etc.). At the moment our museum is closed due to renovation, but will reopen in 2023/24. Our main partners are Archaeological Museums and Institutions in Germany and Europe.Mission and Objectives
