We are developing a new cultural sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina—professional contemporary dance. Although globally significant, it remains underdeveloped in this country. Our goal is to gather regional and international artists, create an international exchange, and foster empowerment, mutual empathy, understanding, and awareness in a post-conflict zone. With numerous international participants from Europe and beyond, "Sarajevo Contemporary Dance Intensive 2024" is a significant step towards the European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through personal growth programs that incorporate transgenerational dialogue through dance movement and psychology, we contribute to a healthier society by addressing individual traumas. We motivate and inspire youth and adults with our projects, as evidenced by the feedback we collect after each event. Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
We want to join the Anna Lindh Foundation because we share the same mission of empowering youth and fostering mutual understanding through dialogue, with the goal of developing a more empathetic society. We aim to collaborate with the Anna Lindh Foundation to realize our projects, particularly in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a post-conflict zone, and contribute to societal development, resilience, and reconciliation.
