La Gloria Factoría de Arte is a non-profit cultural association based in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona, Spain). Over the years, the association has developed community-based artistic projects that use mosaic, ceramics and collaborative making as tools for participation, social cohesion and the transformation of shared spaces. Our work is rooted in cultural mediation, collective creation and accessible artistic practices that bring together neighbours, young people, migrant communities and local organisations. Through hands-on workshops and intergenerational processes, we activate community memory, strengthen local identities and foster environments where people can meet, express themselves and build something meaningful together.
Mission and Objectives
Our mission is to promote intercultural integration, community coexistence and emotional well-being through participatory art. We revitalise public space through collaborative mosaics and ceramic interventions, and we strengthen the social fabric by engaging diverse groups in collective creative processes.

- Community art projects using mosaic, trencadís and ceramics.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
- Expertise in community-based art using mosaic, trencadís and ceramics as tools for participation and dialogue.
- Proven methodologies for working with diverse groups: youth, seniors, migrant communities, mental health resources, women’s collectives and local organisations.
- Experience in public space transformation through collaborative murals that activate community memory and strengthen local identity.
- Intercultural and intergenerational approaches that foster empathy, shared responsibility and belonging.
- Capacity to co-create international projects, drawing from initiatives such as La Torrassa Florida, which involved contributors from 18 countries.

La Gloria Factoría de Arte seeks to join the Anna Lindh Foundation to connect with organisations across the Euro-Mediterranean region that share our commitment to intercultural dialogue, community participation and social transformation through the arts. We believe that mosaic and ceramics—accessible, tactile and deeply collaborative mediums—are powerful tools for building bridges between cultures, strengthening community resilience and fostering mutual understanding.
Through our long-standing experience in participatory murals, intergenerational workshops and community-driven interventions, we can contribute practical methodologies for inclusive artistic processes, cultural mediation and collective empowerment. We are particularly interested in exchanging knowledge, developing joint projects, participating in international initiatives and expanding the impact of community art as a catalyst for social cohesion.
