R-Evolución is a non-profit organization registered in the Register of Associations of Barcelona (Section 1, No. 74566), officially certified by the Government of Catalonia on 9 February 2024. The association was formally founded in February 2024 and has been actively operating since March 2025. It functions with a simple and horizontal structure based entirely on voluntary collaboration, with no employed staff and no economic or commercial activities.
The organization’s mission is strictly cultural and social. Accordingly, it does not manage a fixed annual budget derived from economic activity; available resources depend on occasional contributions, partnerships, and project-based funding.
R-Evolución’s modalities of action include cultural and social projects, intercultural exchanges, seminars, workshops, and educational or creative initiatives aimed at community development.
Main partners vary according to each project and include local cultural organizations, artists, educators, and community-based entities. In recent months, the association has established an international consortium with partner organizations from Italy, Lithuania, Cyprus, France, Turkey, and Poland to develop intercultural and European cooperation projects. Our main Partner are AMigos De Europa.
Mission and Objectives
R-Evolución Cultural Association’s mission is to promote art as a tool for social transformation, civic engagement, and intercultural dialogue. The organization views artistic and cultural practices as powerful means to question reality, generate critical awareness, and foster social change within communities.
Its objectives are to support artistic projects that address social issues, inclusion, diversity, and cultural participation; to create spaces for exchange between artists, cultural professionals, and communities; and to encourage active citizenship through creative and participatory processes. R-Evolución aims to develop intercultural and transnational projects that connect diverse cultural contexts, valorize cultural heritage while embracing contemporary artistic languages, and promote non-formal learning through the arts.
Through its work, the association seeks to empower individuals and communities, strengthen social cohesion, and contribute to a more inclusive, conscious, and culturally engaged European society.
Main Projects / Activities
R-Evolución develops cultural and artistic initiatives aimed at social transformation, inclusion, and intercultural dialogue. Recent activities include the production of a short film for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The association collaborates with the Joan Oliver Pere Quart Civic Center in Barcelona to organize events for international observances, such as the Day against Homotransphobic Violence and Human Rights Day.
R-Evolución participated in the Tisnov International Volunteering Festival in the Czech Republic, presenting its practices to partner organizations from Italy, France, Turkey, and the Czech Republic. The association also organizes a monthly event called Immersive Art Experience, where artists of any discipline perform music, dance, capoeira, theatre, and live painting, allowing complete creative freedom.
Additionally, the association creates original performances promoting fundamental human rights. The latest production, The Perfect Life, explores the human truth in a world of masks, combining theatre, movement, and immersive artistic expression.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
R-Evolución can contribute to the Anna Lindh Network in Spain by promoting intercultural dialogue, artistic collaboration, and community engagement. Our vision emphasizes transnational projects that connect diverse cultural contexts, fostering exchanges that generate mutual understanding, creativity, and social cohesion.
Through partnerships with organizations across Europe, we aim to implement inclusive initiatives that amplify marginalized voices and promote human rights, equality, and participation. Collaborations with local civic centers, such as the Joan Oliver Pere Quart Civic Center in Barcelona, allow us to engage communities in cultural activities, workshops, and events that celebrate diversity and encourage active citizenship.
By facilitating networking opportunities, supporting cross-border cultural projects, and organizing events focused on intercultural themes, R-Evolución seeks to strengthen the Network’s presence and impact in Spain, fostering sustainable dialogue and collaboration at both local and European levels.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
R-Evolución seeks to join the Anna Lindh Network to actively contribute to a Europe-wide dialogue on culture, inclusion, and human rights. Membership in the Network would allow us to connect with like-minded organizations, exchange ideas, and participate in transnational initiatives that promote intercultural understanding and social cohesion.
Being part of the Network aligns with our vision of using art as a tool for social transformation, creating spaces where diverse voices can meet, collaborate, and inspire change. It would also enable us to strengthen our local impact in Spain by bringing international perspectives to community projects, events, and workshops.
Through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and joint cultural initiatives, we aim to contribute to the Network’s mission of fostering inclusive, creative, and sustainable intercultural dialogue across Europe.
