HESSA, established in January 2023, is a Romanian non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering young individuals by fostering entrepreneurial skills, personal branding, and career guidance. Through non-formal educational activities, HESSA aims to help youth identify their passions and build careers aligned with their personalities. The organization actively engages in international projects, such as Erasmus+ programs, to broaden participants' horizons and promote personal and professional development.
Mission and Objectives
HESSA's mission is to empower young individuals to rediscover their potential, follow their true vocation, and achieve meaningful personal and professional growth. The organization fosters inclusion, innovation, and entrepreneurship to create a lasting impact on the lives of youth and their communities.
Objectives:
Promote career development and entrepreneurial education among young people, equipping them with the skills needed for a sustainable future.
Ensure inclusion and equitable access to opportunities, particularly for youths facing economic, social, or geographical barriers.
Foster personal growth and resilience through mentorship programs, international exchanges, and innovative projects.
Encourage digital transformation by integrating AI, VR, and other technologies into educational and career guidance programs.
Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to create sustainable, impactful initiatives that address community challenges.
Main Projects / Activities
HESSA Journey: A 10-month mentorship program focusing on self-discovery, goal-setting, career planning, and teamwork, enabling youths to build confidence and achieve their aspirations.
Erasmus+ Mobilities: Facilitating international exchanges that provide transformative experiences, promoting personal growth, cultural understanding, and professional development.
HubLab Project: Supporting young entrepreneurs with training in business development, financial literacy, and market analysis, leading to the incubation of multiple successful startups.
YouthReach Social Entrepreneurship Program: Empowering vulnerable youth to address social challenges through entrepreneurship, fostering community engagement and problem-solving.
Inclusion Initiatives: Organizing activities for youths with fewer opportunities, such as adapted sports, "living libraries," and inclusion workshops, to promote equity and understanding.
Digital Transformation Projects: Developing tools and programs using AI and VR to provide accessible career guidance and educational resources.
Community Engagement Events: Collaborating with local and international stakeholders to host workshops, conferences, and training sessions on topics such as entrepreneurship, personal branding, and social inclusion.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
HESSA can actively contribute to the Anna Lindh Foundation network in Romania by leveraging its extensive experience in fostering youth empowerment, inclusion, and entrepreneurship through intercultural dialogue. As a founding member of the Federation of Romanian Associations (FAR), HESSA connects with over 50 organizations nationwide, creating opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange. Through impactful initiatives such as Erasmus+ mobilities and the HESSA Journey, the organization promotes understanding and cooperation among diverse cultural backgrounds. With partnerships like ZborHub by BCR, HESSA brings access to youth centers in over 20 cities, enabling widespread engagement. Additionally, HESSA’s innovative approach, including the use of AI and VR tools, ensures modern, inclusive, and transformative contributions to intercultural projects and the broader goals of the Anna Lindh Foundation.
