Oxygen association for environment and health, founded in 2014 in Kenitra, is an independent organization dedicated to environmental and health awareness as well as the promotion of sustainable development, The association advocates for the right to a healthy environment, in line with international charters, focusing on climate justice and sustainable solutions.
Believing that change starts with knowledge, we integrate environmental and health education into policies and programs, organizing awareness campaigns, workshops, and scientific forums that bring together experts, youth, and civil society actors.
Through partnerships with academic institutions and national and international organizations, we develop innovative initiatives to strengthen environmental and social resilience. Our vision: ecological balance, sustainable health, and a greener future for generations to come.
Mission and Objectives
Mission:
Oxygen for Environment and Health aims to raise awareness about environmental and health issues, protect natural resources, and advocate for the right to a healthy environment through education, advocacy, and sustainable development projects.
Objectives:
- Integrate environmental and health education into public policies and educational programs.
- Promote climate justice and biodiversity conservation through field initiatives.
- Implement sustainable projects that balance environmental and health needs.
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, civil society, and national and international organizations.
- Encourage responsible practices to ensure resource sustainability for future generations.
Main Projects / Activities
* Oxygen Forum for Environment and Health : A platform for researchers and experts to discuss environmental and health issues.
* Environmental Awareness and Education Campaigns: Workshops, conferences, and training programs to promote environmental and health consciousness.
* Climate Justice Project: Initiatives to combat pollution and promote sustainable practices.
* Reforestation and Biodiversity Conservation Programs: Tree planting and green space protection for a sustainable future.
* Advocacy for Environmental and Health Issues: Contributing to policy development and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
* Partnerships with Academic Institutions and International Organizations: Developing scientific and training projects to enhance sustainability.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
At the Oxygen Association for Environment and Health, we are committed to advancing environmental and health awareness through community based initiatives, educational campaigns, and active engagement with local and international organizations. We can contribute to the Anna Lindh Foundation Network by fostering intercultural dialogue around environmental issues, promoting sustainable practices, and strengthening partnerships with civil society organizations across Morocco.
Through workshops, events, and collaborations, we aim to highlight the intersection of environmental health and cultural preservation, creating platforms for exchange between communities, Our extensive network of local stakeholders and experts will help amplify the Foundation’s efforts in promoting mutual understanding and sustainable development.
We believe that by bridging the gap between environmental advocacy and cultural diversity, we can contribute to the Foundation’s mission of building a more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient future for all.
