General Information

Banlastic Egypt is a social enterprise based in Alexandria, committed to combating plastic pollution and broader environmental challenges across Egypt and the Mediterranean. Founded in 2018, Banlastic operates through a three-pillar strategy:
- Awareness and capacity building
- Sustainable product development
- Policy advocacy
Banlastic engages youth and communities through interactive workshops, beach cleanups, and plastic-free events while offering eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastics. It also collaborates with policymakers, businesses, and civil society to push for stronger environmental regulations and sustainable waste management practices.
By fostering education, innovation, and systemic change, Banlastic empowers individuals and organizations to take action for a cleaner, more sustainable future. And through strategic partnerships and grassroots mobilization, Banlastic is building a conscious and engaged environmental movement that drives long-term impact.
