BFTA is an umbrella to hundreds of Palestinian producers all around Palestine and Gaza supporting them with reaching out to the international market through the Fair Trade Network.
Mission and Objectives
To develop and improve the socio-economical aspect for the handicraft sector through Fair Trade Principals in the West Bank.
o Ensuring Sustainable Income
•Connecting over 150 artisans across Palestine to international markets.
•Expanding exports through B2B fairs (Ambiente, NY NOW, etc.).
•Developing wholesale and retail channels.
• Promoting Fair Trade Principles
•Guaranteeing fair payment and transparent pricing.
•Advocating for ethical sourcing aligned with WFTO standards.
•Protecting artisans from exploitative middlemen.
• Building Artisan Capacity
•Providing technical training and design development.
•Supporting access to raw materials and machinery (through revolving loan funds).
•Collaborating with international designers to innovate new collections.

•Sustaining traditional crafts such as olive wood carving, Hebron ceramics, blown glass, embroidery, and leather.

Main Projects / Activities
promote the concept of Fair Trade in Palestine among the marginalized cultural producers - product development - marketing and exporting the Palestinian art and craft into the International community- support artisans to earn a living with dignity - we are a social economical organization supporting the vulnerable artisans women special needy groups and men artisans
