The main activities of BİTAV are twinning, organising, designing, managing, and establishing infrastructure and networks through employing knowledge and qualified human resources. The outcomes of these activities are: Training Management, Project Management, Knowledge Management and Production of Training Materials. Since 1995, the year of establishment, BİTAV provided training more than 10,000 people with different backgrounds, disseminated computer textbooks to a population of 150,000, prepared documentaries such as “Science and Life” and “Written by Lights” (a documentary on Turkish scientists) which was aired by TRT and reach to a audience of hundred thousands, contributed to app. 2,000 adolescent’s vocational training and skill, completed 17 EU- and/or the World Bank- funded projects.
