We follow the Anna Lindh Foundation’s vision of building intercultural dialogue, shared prosperity, and peace across the Euro-Mediterranean region with great interest and appreciation. As the Youth Committee of the Association of Industrialists and Businesspeople from Çankırı (Genç ÇASİD), we strongly believe that the Foundation’s philosophy of “turning dialogue into action” and “bringing together changemakers” is deeply aligned with our mission rooted in the heart of Anatolia. How can we contribute?
We can bring the voices and perspectives of young people from Anatolia to the ALF Turkey Network. We can develop projects that share our experiences in local development, agriculture, industry, and cultural heritage with similar communities across the Mediterranean. We can also lead thematic meetings such as “Youth Bridges from Anatolia to the Mediterranean.”

2. Building a Shared Space of Prosperity through Entrepreneurship

The core mission of Genç ÇASİD is to contribute to the economic and social well-being of young people from Çankırı. This objective is fully aligned with ALF’s vision of a “common space of prosperity.”

How can we contribute?
We can design programs that connect young entrepreneurs from our region with mentors and investors from other ALF member countries. We can propose Çankırı as a pilot region or a living lab for ALF’s cultural dialogue and youth projects. In cooperation with other member NGOs, we can develop and implement joint initiatives on topics such as sustainability, digitalization, or cultural heritage preservation.

We strongly believe in ALF’s principle that every voice matters. As a voice from a productive city outside major metropolises like Istanbul and Ankara, we aim to enrich the representativeness and diversity of the ALF Turkey Network.
