Casa Marruecos is a socio-cultural organisation that works to promote inclusion,intercultural dialogue and the active participation of migrant communities in valencian society.
Our focus is on the empowerment of women,the fight against islamophobia and promoting youth to be the center of social change.
The Board of Directors of Casa Marruecos is made up of people with extensive experience in the third sector,wich gives management capacity,commitment and a strategic vision to make projects with real impact both locally and in collaboration with other organizations.

Mission and Objectives

Mission:
Casa Marruecos is a socio-cultural association dedicated to empowering women, promoting inclusion, and fostering intercultural dialogue within the Valencian community. We work to combat Islamophobia, defend the rights of migrants, and support disadvantaged groups.

Objectives:

Empower women, particularly migrant and Muslim women, to participate actively in social life. Promote youth engagement and leadership as drivers of social change. Strengthen social cohesion and intercultural understanding in Valencia. Celebrate and share the richness of Moroccan and Mediterranean culture through educational, cultural, and community initiatives. Advocate against racism and gendered Islamophobia, and ensure the rights of all migrants.

Main Projects / Activities

We have launched various initiatives that reflect our commitment to inclusion,equality and intercultural coexistence:

-Workshops and training spaces aimed mainly at migrant and muslim women,to foster their empowerment and active participation in social life.

-Cultural and community activities that highlight the richness of moroccan and mediterranean culture in Valencia.

-Community solidarity actions.

-Awareness-raising and advocacy campaigns focused on combating racism and islamophobia.

-New lines of work with youth,offering spaces for participations,positive identity and leadership to young people with migrant origin.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Connecting local and mediterranean networks,thanks to our strong presence in Valencia and ties with the moroccan and migrant community.
We can contribute with an inclusion perspective with gender focus,commitment to fighting racism and islamophobia sharing learnings and joining efforts with other organizations and organizational and management capacity.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

Because we share its mission of strengthening intercultural dialogue and euro-mediterranean cooperation as tools to build more inclusive,diverse and cohesive societies.
