Mission and Objectives

The mission of the Center for Research and Policy Making - CRPM is to promote good governance and development in Macedonia on the basis of relevant, evidence-based policy research, capacity building and trainings, evaluations, analyses and surveys, without regard to and independently of the particular interests CRPM’s envisioned future is to become the biggest most influential Balkan think tank offering sound analysis and advice and influencing the policy agenda of Macedonia and the Southeast European region in various areas, offering abundance of research resources (data bases; books; articles; papers; internet-based resources and other logistical support) to individual researchers, professionals, journalist, students, civil society organizations and interested parties of any group of the society, either political, social or economic.

Main Projects / Activities

Main project related with gender budgeting, gender based violence prevention: -Strengthening transparency and accountability for gender equality in Western Balkans and Moldova (Gender Budget Watchdog Network, Phase II) -Through gender lenses: appraising budgets and policies; watchdogging local action plans for gender equality implementation -Young Men Initiative in GBV Prevention in North Macedonia Main project related to Good governance: -SMART Balkan - Civil Society for shared society in the Western Balkans -BAT-Civil Society – Civic Oversight Capacities for Budget Accountability and Transparency Main project related to Economic development and labour market: -Better employment conditions for seasonal workers in North Macedonia Main project related to Sustainable development: -Development of an organic waste management in grapes and wine production in Tikves region

CRPM can contribute to the Anna Lindh Foundation Network by sharing our expertise in policy research, fostering intercultural dialogue, offering capacity-building programs, and engaging youth through initiatives like the Young Men Initiative. Our experience in promoting good governance and sustainable development aligns well with the network’s goals.
