General Information

CIN, short for "Community initiatives Network" is a youth led association founded in 2010 with a mission to promote and support human security, with a specific focus on the education, the well-being of children, adolescents, and youth, as well as child protection. The organization is led by two dedicated members with over eight years of experience in the humanitarian field and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

Mission and Objectives

We are dedicated to empowering prosperity and community development through sustainable initiatives, activities, fostering social cohesion, and providing equitable opportunities, all achieved through cohesive partnerships to reach transformative societal change.
CIN primarily operates in the regions of North and Akkar including 5 main departments:
Programmatic
Finance
Procurement
HR
M&E
Our main targets are the most disadvantaged beneficiaries, where we promote our vision by targeting vulnerability and not nationalities (emphasizing on the inclusive approach while include children with disability in our project design).

Main Projects / Activities

Under the leadership of its experienced team, CIN has established itself as a key player in the humanitarian sector. The association works in two main sectors: Education and Youth/Adolescent, as well as Child Protection.
Education: Non-formal education activities, including Basic Literacy and Numeracy (BLN), Adapted Basic Literacy and Numeracy (ABLN), Youth Basic Literacy and Numeracy (YBLN), Early Childhood Development (ECD), and Remedial Support (RS).
Child Protection: Activities like case management, Community-Based Psychosocial Support (CBPSS), Focused Psychosocial Support (PSS), and the "QUDWA" initiative.
The CIN team has made significant efforts in the field of vocational training and capacity building.
Development of training packs based on needs assessment, including trainer guides and trainee handouts, assessments & activities.
Youth & Adolescents: Initiatives engaging young people in skill development and other youth-focused activities, livelihood w innovation w linking youth to job opportunities through job readiness trainings.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Through the transfer of experiences and best practices to enhance the quality of implemented projects and maximize their benefits for beneficiaries, in addition to participating in advocacy campaigns related to the role of youth and women, as well as associated media campaigns.
Moreover, participation in the network’s activities and the potential provision of trainers for capacity-building programs and similar relevant initiatives.
