General Information

The association was established in 1999 in Tyrnavos. The purposes of the Association are:

Cultivating cultural ideas and values among its members and the city's residents.

Discovery, collection, and processing of folklore, historical, and cultural elements for the preservation of cultural heritage and their promotion through intellectual, artistic, and recreational events
Strengthening of relationships among the members of the Association and the creation of mutual assistance and solidarity between them and the residents of the city.

The preservation and protection of the natural environment, as well as efforts and actions for the implementation of projects of public benefit for the members of the Association, the Authorities, or any other relevant body.

Cooperation with the Municipality of Tyrnavos, with local associations and organizations, with similar associations and clubs from other cities in the country, as well as from other countries.

The Association consists of two main sections (Dance and Choir), which have included hundreds of our fellow citizens as active members over the years. Additionally, five more sections (Artistic, Cultural, Nature-Loving, Excursion, and Theatrical) have been operating or have operated at various times.

Throughout its existence, the Association has organized numerous activities and events, making it a key pillar of cultural production in the region. Indicatively, it organizes two annual festivals (Dance and Choir), choral concerts and dance performances, participates in various festivals in Greece and abroad, takes part in tree planting and other nature-related activities, organizes excursions, revives local traditions, participates in voluntary blood donations, presents theatrical performances (in its early years), honors members and other distinguished individuals, and organizes lectures
