Mission and Objectives
The "Guardians of Smiles" Association is a youth-oriented NGO committed to promoting the right of every individual to access culture. Our mission is to build an inclusive, creative, and democratic society through education, intercultural dialogue, and active youth participation. We believe that culture is a basic right, not a privilege, and we work to make it accessible to all, especially marginalized and underrepresented communities.
Main Projects / Activities
Over the past two decades, the Association has implemented numerous local and international projects, youth exchanges, cultural events, educational workshops, and campaigns aimed at promoting human rights, cultural inclusion, and youth empowerment. Some of our most successful activities include cultural mobility programs, theater for social change, and joint initiatives with organizations across Europe.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
We can contribute by actively engaging in joint projects, sharing best practices in cultural education and youth empowerment, hosting intercultural events, and participating in regional collaborations that promote tolerance, inclusion, and human rights. Our local connections and experience with youth and artistic initiatives can help strengthen the ALF Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
We want to join the ALF Network to expand our partnerships, gain access to international cooperation opportunities, and exchange knowledge and methodologies with like-minded organizations across the Euro-Mediterranean region. We strongly support the ALF's mission of promoting mutual understanding and intercultural dialogue and are eager to contribute to its vision and activities.
