Whirling has long been seen through the lens of mysticism, especially Islamic mysticism. Dervish in Progress respects that heritage, yet repositions whirling for contemporary life: as a living practice of active meditation for people moving through speed, distraction, pressure, and emotional strain. Not as a retreat from the world, but as a way to stay centred within it — to organise the body, focus the mind, steady the emotions, and regain inner alignment while life keeps accelerating.
