How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
DEYDER can contribute to the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) Network in Turkey by advancing intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, and education through digital transformation, particularly for disadvantaged communities in Van and beyond.
Aligned with ALF’s focus on social cohesion and diversity, DEYDER works to empower marginalized communities, including refugees, women, and low-income youth through digital education, cybersecurity awareness, and media literacy. By reducing the digital divide, the organization fosters equal opportunities for participation in society, ensuring that vulnerable groups are not excluded from the digital economy, civic engagement, or intercultural dialogue initiatives.
In line with ALF’s commitment to youth engagement and education, DEYDER integrates gamification, AI-driven learning tools, and misinformation resilience training into youth programs. This helps young people develop critical thinking skills, navigate digital spaces safely, and build resilience against online polarization and extremism—key issues in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
DEYDER also contributes to ALF’s objectives on dialogue and mutual understanding by organizing cross-border digital collaborations, virtual forums, and knowledge-sharing platforms. These initiatives connect young people and educators in Turkey, the Middle East, and Europe, encouraging collaborative problem-solving on shared societal challenges, such as digital inclusion and misinformation.
Additionally, through its work in Van, DEYDER supports social cohesion between local and refugee youth, using technology and digital storytelling to bridge cultural divides. By working closely with schools, universities, and NGOs, the organization ensures that disadvantaged communities in the region gain access to intercultural learning experiences and international collaboration opportunities.
Through EU-funded projects and partnerships within the ALF Network, DEYDER strengthens Euro-Med cooperation in education, media literacy, and technological empowerment, contributing to a more inclusive and digitally resilient society.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
DEYDER seeks to join the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) Network to contribute to and benefit from a dynamic platform for intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, and digital transformation in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
As an organization dedicated to digital literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and empowering disadvantaged communities, DEYDER aligns with ALF’s mission of fostering mutual understanding and cooperation among diverse societies. The network will provide valuable collaboration opportunities with like-minded institutions working on youth empowerment, education, and social cohesion.
By joining ALF, DEYDER aims to expand its impact in promoting digital inclusion for marginalized groups, including refugees, women, and low-income youth. Through ALF’s dialogue-driven initiatives, DEYDER can further integrate technology-based educational tools and misinformation resilience strategies into cross-cultural projects.
Additionally, DEYDER’s expertise in gamification, AI-driven learning, and digital safety education can contribute to ALF’s efforts to combat misinformation, online extremism, and digital inequalities across the region. By leveraging ALF’s knowledge-sharing platforms and funding opportunities, DEYDER seeks to build stronger partnerships and develop sustainable, high-impact programs addressing social and digital divides in Turkey and beyond.
