The School of Oriental Dance is an school that has been offering public education classes since 1991. The school also offers classes, cultural events and lectures that are not covered by the Public Information Act. The school guarantees academic and pedagogical quality and works under the motto "quality over quantity". The school is affiliated with Dansk Oplysningsforbund and collaborates with www.shahrazad.dk
The mission of the association Shahrazad is to help immigrant and refugee women in Denmark, - who have a special need in relation to learning and teaching, - so that it promotes women's health and prevents diseases.
To integrate immigrant and refugee women, - who have a special need in relation to learning and teaching, - through safe courses that are based on high professional quality, responsibility, commitment and human respect, so that they can contribute to Danish society.
To support and strengthen the integration of immigrants and refugees in Denmark. The school is affiliated with Dansk Oplysningsforbund and collaborates with orientalskdans.dk

Mission and Objectives
The mission of both schools is to spread knowledge of oriental dance, music and cultural history from the Middle Eastern countries, as well as to convey and raise awareness of physical and mental health, well-being, harmony and balance.
Both schools' vision is to be the preferred teaching place in Denmark due to the physical framework, high academic and pedagogical quality.
Main Projects / Activities
School of Oriental Dance offers classes in belly dance / oriental dance for women of all ages and also organizes cultural events with dance and music from the Middle East.
Association Shahrazad offers classes: As exercises, movements, relaxation, body awareness, diet, health promotion,
disease prevention and self-care. The teaching is for immigrant and refugee women who are of a mature age /elder and lives in Denmark..
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
Association Shahrazad & Skole for Orientalsk Dans can contribute, because we have a lot of experience in working with culture, music and dance from the Middle East, healthiness and integration.
