Dozan Cultural Initiative is a Palestinian platform dedicated to preserving and promoting cultural heritage through music, arts, and interactive education. Founded in 2018, our initiative bridges generations by fostering artistic expression and social engagement, empowering youth and marginalized communities through creative workshops, performances, and collaborative projects.
Mission and Objectives
Our mission is to utilize music and the arts as tools for cultural preservation, education, and social empowerment. We aim to:
1. Strengthen Palestinian identity and heritage through music and artistic expression.
2. Provide accessible music education and creative workshops for children, youth, and communities.
3. Foster cross-cultural exchange and dialogue through collaborative artistic projects.
4. Empower young talents and emerging artists by offering training and performance opportunities.
Main Projects / Activities
1. Dozan Music & Arts Workshops: Interactive programs teaching music theory, singing, and traditional Palestinian arts to children and youth, fostering creativity and cultural awareness. Served hundreds of individuals and community groups, empowering them through artistic education.
2. Folklore & Dabke Training: Engaging young people in traditional Palestinian dance, connecting them to their cultural roots.
3. Music for Social Impact: Organizing concerts and community events that use music as a means of storytelling, resilience, and advocacy.
