Educuality is a Cairo-based educational social enterprise founded in 2018/2019 that focuses on innovative, informal education for young people in Egypt. It uses creative methods — such as games, workshops, and participatory programs — to raise awareness and understanding of global issues, especially around the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), peacebuilding, environmental awareness, and youth empowerment.
The organization aims to equip Egyptian youth with the knowledge, values, and tools to participate in community development, advocate for their rights, and create positive social impact. It blends education with practical skill building and encourages young people to become active contributors to sustainable solutions
Mission and Objectives
Educuality Envisions an ecosystem where young people are aware, empowered, and actively engaged in shaping a peaceful, sustainable, and equitable world. The organization believes that education, especially for sustainable development, peacebuilding, and global citizenship, should be accessible, meaningful, and interactive, enabling youth to understand global challenges and participate in real-world solutions
Educuality’s mission is to design and deliver innovative informal educational tools, programs, and games that:
Raise youth awareness about global challenges including peace, environment, and sustainable development.
Promote the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among young people in Egypt.
Provide participatory learning experiences (workshops, gamified education, dialogue-based activities) that help youth develop skills and values to create their own social impact initiatives.
Empower youth with tools, confidence, and opportunities to take leadership roles in community development and contribute to sustainable change.
In simple terms, Educuality works to transform how young people in Egypt learn about and act on global issues by combining education with creativity, gamification, and community engagement
Main Projects / Activities
🎲 Educuality Board Games Hub
One of Educuality’s flagship approaches is using gamification for educational impact:
This project develops board games and interactive tools that teach concepts like peace values, global citizenship, and sustainable development in an engaging way.
The games help young people understand complex issues and build skills like cooperation, dialogue, and problem-solving.
Through the Board Games Hub, Educuality also supports incubation of youth-led ideas and initiatives that emerge from these learning experiences.
🎓 Workshops & Awareness Programs
Educuality runs interactive workshops, round tables, and meetups for university students and youth groups. These sessions cover:
The SDGs and global emerging issues.
Peacebuilding, democracy, and civic engagement.
Entrepreneurship and social innovation.
Participants are encouraged to turn learning into action — including opportunities to pitch ideas, receive mentorship, and sometimes even obtain support to start community projects.
🏕️ Youth Camps & Intensive Training
Educuality sometimes hosts multi-day camps and condensed bootcamps that provide:
Comprehensive training on sustainable development themes.
Support for youth teams to conceptualize and develop social initiatives.
Mentorship, branding guidance, and funding opportunities for top project ideas
