General Information

At the Global Women Forum (GWF), we believe that success in any industry requires not only professional expertise but also a deep understanding of the cultures where we operate. That’s why our mission extends beyond leadership development - we are dedicated to equipping women and youth with the skills needed for the future, particularly in emerging sectors such as energy, STEM, AI, and the digital world.

Founded by the EITEP Institute to address the underrepresentation of women in these sectors, GWF has evolved into a platform that fosters inclusion, youth engagement, and cross-industry collaboration.
With a strong focus on bridging the Arab world to global opportunities, we develop initiatives that empower the next generation, build competencies, and drive innovation across borders.

Mission and Objectives

My personal mission and motivation as well as the Global Women Forum Platform which I have created is to strengthen intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding, and cooperation between Europe and the MENA region, with a strong focus on empowering women, young women, and youth as key drivers of social transformation.

Through the Global Women Forum and associated initiatives within the institute I work with, we aim to create inclusive spaces where voices from different cultural, professional, and generational backgrounds can connect, learn from each other, and co-create solutions for a more equitable and sustainable future.

Our objective is to contribute to a stronger civil society ecosystem by fostering dialogue, breaking stereotypes, and enabling long-term collaboration across borders.

Main Projects / Activities

Our main activities focus on building structured platforms for intercultural exchange and capacity building. This includes the Global Women Forum, which brings together women leaders, young professionals, and experts from Europe and the MENA region through panels, dialogue formats, and networking initiatives.

We also design and deliver workshops, trainings, and mentorship programmes focused on leadership development, communication skills, intercultural competence, and youth empowerment.

These activities are designed to translate dialogue into action by strengthening skills, creating visibility for underrepresented voices, and fostering sustainable cross-regional collaboration in line with civil society engagement principles.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

I can contribute to the German ALF Network by actively supporting intercultural dialogue initiatives that connect civil society actors between Germany, Europe, and the MENA region.

Through my work with the Global Women Forum, I can facilitate partnerships, co-develop workshops, and support youth- and women-focused initiatives that align with ALF’s mission of strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation.

On a personal level, I can contribute as a trainer, mentor, and facilitator in areas such as leadership, empowerment, and intercultural communication, while also supporting network visibility and cross-sector collaboration.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

I want to join the Anna Lindh Foundation Network because its mission strongly reflects my personal and professional commitment to intercultural dialogue, inclusion, and civil society empowerment across Europe and the MENA region.

The ALF Network provides a unique platform to connect grassroots initiatives, civil society organisations, and changemakers working toward shared understanding and cooperation across cultures.

Becoming part of this network would allow me to strengthen the impact of the Global Women Forum, expand cross-regional collaboration, and contribute more meaningfully to building bridges between Europe and the MENA region through dialogue, education, and empowerment.
