The goal of the Empower Nexus Center is to provide opportunities in society, schools, institutions and the business world, for economic development in urban and rural areas, by combining a dynamic program with the experiences of various organizations with entrepreneurs and the community, to provide assistance in schools and institutions towards the recognition of children's and human rights, the reduction of prejudice and bullying phenomena, the inclusion of youth councils, training on social and gender topics, intervention with cooperation in institutions for advice and training, for the provision of public assistance and behavior, towards the provision of various services, etc.
Our center also pays close attention to environmental protection, innovative programs, and the empowerment of women and girls.
Mission and Objectives
The Center's mission is to provide innovative interventions in the transformation and development of knowledge and perspectives on social issues, in vulnerable groups, schools among young people, cases of harassment and bullying, to empower and renew capacities in managerial, social and business development skills, as well as to generate ideas for social groups and groups in need, business and addressing entrepreneurship issues with a focus on the market and economic activities. To achieve the organization's purpose, its activity will be guided by the aim of implementing these main objectives:
1. Trainings on social plans with young people and individuals interested in social issues. Institutional seminars, innovative entrepreneurship, social issues, gender and counseling
2. Seminars on the priorities of social initiatives that can be undertaken in Dibër and beyond.
3. Assistance in institutions, schools, communities on education, life skills, family interaction for a healthy family, etc.
4. Joint social initiatives, addressed towards social economic development in urban and rural territories, in cooperation with local government.
5. Developing local and regional partnerships in cooperation with local government.
6. Information about training offered by various partners.
7. Information about training offered by various partners.
8. Creation of a communication network platform for young entrepreneurs.
9. Creation of opportunities for exchange of experiences with similar domestic and foreign organizations.
10. Assist in the drafting and publication of brochures, promotional materials, studies, etc. in the social and economic field.
11. Active participation in conferences and activities of this type at national and international level.
12. Assistance and leadership in the organization of fairs and local festivals to promote local, regional, cross-border and national businesses.
Also, in order to achieve its purpose and activity, the Center may establish cooperative relationships with other organizations in the country, the region and beyond, and may become a member of business associations, foundations, associations, other NGOs, chambers of commerce at the regional and broader level, and local or national institutions.
Main Projects / Activities
Since we are a newly established organization, so far we have only held meetings with young people, a peaceful protest for road safety, and several community charity initiatives, made possible by the center's members themselves.
