General Information

Enten Hitti is an open research lab in performing arts established by Pierangelo Pandiscia and Gino ape. Since 1996 working on sound experimentation and ritual dimension of performance.

They dived into experiences of healing sacred rituals in North Africa, India, Mongolia, Turky, working with Centro Camuno Prehistorical Studies (Bs, Italy), Gnawa brotherhoods of Marrakesh, Dervishes of western Sahara, International Center of Antropology of Ulan Bator, Odin Teatret, Wokcenter J. Grotowski Pontedera, Peter Brook.

The original Enten Hitti music and performance -evocative and hypnotic – is inspired by archaic sounds coming from natural sounds, and mesmerize leading into the deep of brain.

Distinctive feature of the group, the originality of the proposed performances go from mazes and sound sculptures, to video-art installations, and sleeping concert from midnight to dawn.

Before the last born Mistiche Ribelli , Enten Hitti released seven records produced and distributed in Italy and abroad by Universal/Polygram, Projekt, Hic Sunt Leones, Lizard Records, ADN, and Seahorserecordings.
The ensemble has also participated as special guest or contributor to over 15 international compilations and solo records.

Over the years they have produced video art (harta Perfroming), sound poetry books, soundtracks for RAI RADIO2 and RAIRADIO3, films, theatre and dance.

Enten Hitti is mentioned and described in the books “The voice in movement”, “Italian Performance Art” - 50 years of history of performance in Italy ”,“ Solchi Sperimentali Italia ”
