Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

As a 2025-born research organisation still establishing its footprint, we view ALF Network membership of foundational importance. We are at the formative stage where partnerships shape institutional culture, and we want that culture to be inherently collaborative, transnational, and focused on impact. Being aligned to ALF's core values we want our research to combat racism, xenophobia, protect democratic processes and values, and provide a better understanding towards conflict prevention. As such the ALF Network can offer emerging organisations like ours three significant benefits: (a) credibility by association with a respected intergovernmental institution, (b) structured learning through capacity-building programs that accelerate our maturity, and (c) immediate access and connection to 43 national networks.
At the same time, being members and having the opportunity to participate at the national meetings will allow us to absorb lessons from seasoned organisations while sharing our own approaches to research, evaluation and policy analysis. Last but not least, as an emerging entity, we can benefit from the Network's grant schemes and funding calls, which will help us pilot and implement our research projects and initiatives. We seek to leverage these resources to enhance our commitment to rigorous, ethical research while contributing on contemporary challenges like digital polarization and evolving security dynamics.
