General Information

Etisal Assiut Association for Information Technology is a non-governmental organization established in 2012 and registered under No. 1134 under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Solidarity. Based in Assiut, Upper Egypt, Etisal Assiut serves and supports youth, entrepreneurs, and women across Upper Egypt in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector. The association focuses on promoting and developing ICT to help entrepreneurs develop their startups, grow their revenues, and support students and graduates from engineering, computing, and information faculties, as well as those interested in information technology fields.
Since its establishment, Etisal Assiut has signed a cooperation protocol with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) in 2012. ITIDA is affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), positioning Etisal Assiut as a strategic partner in advancing Egypt's ICT industry development.

Mission and Objectives

Vision: Etisal Assiut will be the main driver leading the development, promotion, and transformation of the Egyptian ICT industry.

Mission: Etisal Assiut helps develop and implement a strategy for the evolution of Egypt's ICT industry, improving the business environment for members by promoting their local and international interests and fostering strong, positive synergy among Egyptian industry stakeholders.

Main Projects / Activities

Annual Anniversary Conference
Held every year in the presence of member companies, success partners, and strategic partners, the Etisal Assiut Anniversary Conference presents achievements during the year and plans for the following year. The conference identifies companies' success stories and honors success partners and strategic partners for their contributions to the association's mission.

Annual Entrepreneurship Conference on ICT Sector
This flagship event puts graduates on the right path in entrepreneurship across various ICT fields. The conference informs graduates of the latest technologies in both local and global markets and shares leadership opportunities available in the ICT sector, directly supporting youth employment and entrepreneurship development.

ITAC Tour Event
In cooperation with ITIDA, Etisal Assiut conducts seminars on writing project proposals funded by the agency through the Information Technology Advisory Committee (ITAC) program. These events support cooperation between research entities and ICT companies, bringing together member companies and faculty members from Upper Egypt universities to foster innovation-industry partnerships.

Upper Egypt ICT Exhibition
Organized annually, the Upper Egypt ICT Exhibition serves as a marketing platform for member companies to showcase their products and services locally. The exhibition facilitates networking meetings between companies, invites success partners and strategic partners, and creates opportunities for companies to present their services and products to target customers and decision-makers from governmental agencies. This event enables participating companies to discuss cooperation opportunities and expand their market reach.

Job Fair
Etisal Assiut has organized multiple job fairs providing more than 400 employment opportunities to youth in member companies both inside and outside Assiut New Technology Park. These events directly address youth unemployment and support economic empowerment through job creation.
