Through our activities we are highly interested to promote volunteerism in our community that benefit to a variety of causes while also instilling a feeling of community and social responsibility. In this context, we organised seminars that demonstrated how young people may use their unique talents and knowledge to support local organisations and projects. This helped individuals recognise the various ways in which they can participate.Main Projects / Activities
- Community Cleanups: we organised local clean-up events to eliminate rubbish and waste from public places, parks, and rivers. This contributed to pollution prevention and a better environment for everyone. - Educational workshops: we organised a series of workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns for educating young people about environmental challenges, conservation techniques, and sustainable living practises. - Basic digital literacy seminars: we organised seminars aiming to educate elders the fundamentals of utilising computers, cellphones, and tablets. We discuss subjects such as utilising the internet, sending emails, social networking, and installing and using apps. - SDGs workshops and Film Screenings: we organised awareness campaigns using social media, local newspapers, and community activities to highlight certain SDGs and promote participation.
