Fiftyfi fty is a Lebanese NGO involving women, men, and young individuals aiming at promoting gender equality in private and public sectors, focusing mainly on political decision-making positions.
Mission and Objectives
Fiftyfi fty’s mission is to increase the number of women’s participation in political
life with the full support of men by creating awareness on the benefits of gender equality. It also aims to strive, through partnering with the media, to highlight women’s achievements while changing the current mindset and creating the need for a gender balanced Lebanon.
Main Projects / Activities
Women Leaders in Politics (2024-2025)
• Conduct awareness sessions across Lebanese regions to highlight the significance of women’s political engagement.
• Equip over 300 potential candidates, from diverse regions and political backgrounds, with knowledge and skills to run for office.
• Provide intensive online political and technical training sessions.
• Increase aspiring candidates’ media exposure to highlight their expertise.
• Organize networking sessions with prominent female leaders and politicians.
Caritas MONA(2024-2025)
• Empower women and encourage them to reach decision-making positions.
• Guide female executives/directors in advancing their leadership roles.
• Increase female engagement across all positions, traditionally dominated by men.
• Raise awareness about the importance of inclusivity and diversity for effective management.
