The National Association of Local Youth Councils (ANCLJ) aims to empower young people across Tunisia by strengthening local youth councils, promoting civic engagement, and enhancing youth participation in public decision-making processes. The organization works to create inclusive spaces where young people can actively contribute to their communities and influence policies that affect their lives.

Main Projects / Activities
Our NGO organizes capacity-building workshops, training sessions, and mentoring programs for youth councils. It facilitates dialogue between youth and public institutions, supports local initiatives led by young people, and promotes participation through advocacy campaigns, community projects, and networking activities at national and local levels.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
Our NGO can actively contribute to the Anna Lindh Foundation Network in Tunisia by mobilizing a wide network of local youth councils across different regions, including underserved and marginalized areas.
The organization can facilitate grassroots engagement by connecting the network with young people at the local level, ensuring that intercultural dialogue initiatives reach diverse communities. We can also contribute by organizing capacity-building activities, workshops, and dialogue spaces that promote active citizenship, inclusion, and mutual understanding.
In addition, We can support the dissemination of ALF opportunities, encourage youth participation in regional initiatives, and foster partnerships between civil society organizations, local authorities, and youth structures. Through its experience in youth empowerment and participatory governance, the organization can bring valuable insights and best practices to strengthen the impact of the network in Tunisia.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
Our NGO seeks to join the Anna Lindh Foundation network to strengthen its capacities, expand its partnerships at the Euro-Mediterranean level, and exchange good practices in youth participation and intercultural dialogue. Being part of the network will allow the organization to contribute to regional initiatives and enhance its impact in promoting inclusive and participatory societies.
