The ZORA Foundation is a non-profit organization. Its governing bodies are the Board of Directors and the Manager. Currently, two people are employed by the ZORA Foundation. The foundation Zora is currently participating as a strategic partner in a five-year i3.0 Strategic Partnership program funded by the National Foundation for Civil Society Development. We are a local partner in the i3.0 Strategic Partnership with the EURAC Research Center from Bolzano, working together in the field of sustainable development. Other activities are financed by donations.
Mission and Objectives
The Foundation's mission is to achieve sustainable development goals in local communities through cross-sectoral collaboration, tourism, and social economy.
PROMOTION AND ADVOCACY - We aim to encourage sustainable development of local communities and tourism in the Mediterranean, especially in rural areas of Croatia.
INFORMATION AND SUPPORT - Providing information and support to individuals interested in sustainable development of local communities and tourism in Croatia and the Mediterranean
PROGRAM FINANCING - Focusing on the development of local communities, with an emphasis on vulnerable groups in society and improving life in rural areas
PUBLIC DISCUSSIONS FOR THE COMMUNITY- We aim to encourage sustainable development of local communities and tourism in the Mediterranean, especially in rural areas of Croatia.
EDUCATION AND SUPPORT - Conducting specialized research, education, and providing assistance, counseling, and publishing as means to achieve the Foundation's fundamental purpose.
IMPROVING LIVES - Emphasizing the improvement of life in rural areas through program financing and support.
