How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Our contribution to the Network in our country will focus on creating meaningful bridges between communities, institutions, and international partners. Given that most of our team comes from an emigrant background, we bring with us unique values such as adaptability, resilience, intercultural sensitivity, and a strong sense of solidarity. These experiences allow us to better understand the challenges of integration, diversity, and inclusion, while also appreciating the importance of cross-border cooperation.
We will contribute by:
1. Promoting intercultural dialogue: Leveraging our own lived experiences of migration to foster understanding and cooperation between diverse groups in society.
2. Bringing a global perspective: Our international exposure enriches the Network with innovative ideas, comparative approaches, and knowledge of best practices from other contexts.
3.Empowering vulnerable groups: With a particular focus on youth and marginalized communities, we will design initiatives that encourage participation, resilience, and active citizenship.
4. Strengthening European values: By connecting local realities with European ideals of democracy, solidarity, and social justice, we ensure that the Network’s activities resonate widely and inclusively.
Our team’s emigrant background is not just part of our identity—it is an asset that allows us to act as cultural connectors, enrich the Network with diverse perspectives, and promote unity through diversity.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

We want to join the ALF Network because it represents a unique platform that connects civil society actors across cultures, fostering dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding between Europe and the Southern Mediterranean. By becoming part of this Network, we will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge, collaborate on projects, and amplify our impact in promoting social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and sustainable development.
Given our team’s emigrant background, we strongly value the Network’s mission of building bridges across societies. Our participation will allow us not only to share the perspectives and experiences of our community but also to learn from the diverse practices and innovations of other members. We see the ALF Network as a catalyst for building stronger partnerships, increasing the visibility of our work, and reinforcing shared values such as solidarity, diversity, and active citizenship.
