15 volunteers -Projects, volunteers and trainings-Within 2 years ,As a youth association, we had many trainings and actions. For example one of our members had a training of trainers on ‘sexual and reproductive health of vulnerable groups like most-at-risk young people and adolescent’ organized by ICC (International Children Center). And we also had many meetings on the subject of how can strengthen the youth and we had a training of entrepreneurship by KOSGEB (Republic of Turkey Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization) and eventually we could manage to establish an agency so we could also manage to press a magazine which is really helpful to inform public on social issues.Mission and Objectives
Strengthen the situation of youth in Çerkezköy and the whole region of Tekirdağ in more or less every field: strengthen their rights, their positions in society, in work, in culture and arts by education and common activities.Main Projects / Activities
Besides from these we also work with many other youth organizations like ‘Community Volunteers Foundation’ on the subject of human rights and discrimination, for example we attended’ living/human library’ in Ankara and in Istanbul. The Human Library is an innovative method designed to promote dialogue, reduce prejudices and encourage understanding. The main characteristics of the project are to be found in its simplicity and positive approach. Visitors to a Human Library are given the opportunity to speak informally with “people on loan”; this latter group being extremely varied in age, sex and cultural background. The Human Library enables groups to break stereotypes by challenging the most common prejudices in a positive and humorous manner. It is a concrete, easily transferable and affordable way of promoting tolerance and understanding.How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
