GOOD DRAMMA ETS is an independent non-profit organization operating at the intersection of culture, transmedia storytelling, and community empowerment. Our organization primarily targets youth (under 35), local citizens, and independent creatives (artists, storytellers) within the Euro-Mediterranean space. We focus on transforming passive urban spectators into active co-authors of their cities and local communities. Through our inclusive and multilingual approach, we build a diverse, interconnected ecosystem that bridges generational gaps, collaborates with academic institutions like Sapienza University, and tackles urban and social isolation.
Mission and Objectives
Our mission is to archive the present to affirm its value. We live in a time of urban fragmentation where it is easy to feel isolated. GOOD DRAMMA ETS was born to rekindle human connection, using creativity as an engine and the everyday as raw material. Our main objective is to empower youth (under 35) and foster bonds between generations, transforming them from passive consumers into active co-authors of their communities through arts and storytelling. We design human spaces, both physical and digital, where the fleeting moment becomes a lasting cultural artifact, fostering a true sense of community belonging and social inclusion.
Main Projects / Activities
We operate on a hybrid ecosystem mixing the digital and the real: 1. Podcasts in multiple languages ('Er traffico de Roma' & 'Why are U in Rome?'): Audio archives exploring the intimacy and life paths of citizens, turning everyday urban paths into lasting cultural narratives. 2. Casa Good Dramma: The physical manifestation of our identity. Interactive events featuring Open Studios for story-recording, Emotional Maps, and live music to spark connection and creativity. 3. Participatory Labs: Formats like 'When listening becomes a performance', co-created with Anomalia Media ETS and hosted at historical venues like Palazzo Farnese (Institut Français), where the audience directs actors and musicians based on everyday auditory stimuli. 4. Artistic event & curation: Events like “Creative Fermentation” where diverse artists come together to create unique moments, engaging the audience through various live expression formats (painting, podcasts, music, drawing, DJ sets).
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
We can contribute our transmedia expertise to the ALF network. First, we offer our unique audio production methodology used to archive the present in Italian, English or French. Second, we bring our know-how in designing participatory events and deep-listening workshops that empower youth. Finally, we offer our strategic experience in creating projects with institutions and associations.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
We want to join the ALF Network to belong to a vibrant ecosystem of organizations across the Euro-Mediterranean region whose core values deeply resonate with ours. We seek to expand our glocal network, exchange know-how on youth empowerment and intercultural dialogue, and elevate our local actions to a regional scale. We deeply believe that creativity is the most powerful language to bring people together, and the ALF Network represents the ideal platform to share our vision, learn new perspectives, and collectively undertake the challenge of urban and social isolation.
