GEYC is a Romanian youth organisation active at European and international levels. We empower youth, teachers, and youth workers to collaborate and lead change within a single digital community.
Mission and Objectives
Our mission is to empower young people to create
a positive change in their community.
Objectives:
Main Projects / Activities
For the period 2025-2030, we work on the following portfolio and cross-portfolio topics:
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
After completing the selection stages on January 30, 2026, the organization GEYC was chosen to serve as the Head of Network for the Anna Lindh Foundation Romania for a period of two years, from 2026 to 2028.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
Since 2016, GEYC has focused on regions located at the borders of the European Union, including the Western Balkans, Eastern Europe, the southern neighborhood, and the special territories of EU member states. In this context, we conduct our activities through strategic cooperation, with key initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable development and intercultural dialogue, addressing common challenges such as climate change, digitalization, and economic opportunities.
Our involvement in the Euro-Mediterranean Anna Lindh Foundation for Dialogue between Cultures network began in 2013, and our initiatives funded through this platform have been crucial in promoting intercultural awareness and meaningful dialogue between communities on both shores of the Mediterranean. Among these initiatives are participation in two discussion panels at ALForum (Albania, 2025), the “Enhance Your Capacity Academy Digital Program” - ALF HANDS-ON (2 editions, 2024), and #GenderIDTalks - ALF Virtual Marathon (2021).
