Mission and Objectives
Dedicated to advancing the psychophysical development, wellbeing, and healthy lifestyle habits of children and young people in today’s digital society.
The aim of our activities is to research and monitor the impact of excessive use of digital devices on children and youth, as well as to educate and raise public awareness about the importance of balanced technology use, especially during leisure time as a source of entertainment.
Main Projects / Activities
Through educational workshops, creative, cultural, and sports activities, camps, family programs, and outdoor initiatives, we promote direct communication, reading, play, physical activity, and the development of social skills.
Through active collaboration with educational institutions, local communities, professionals, and organizations both nationally and internationally, we aim to create an inclusive and supportive environment for children and young people, as well as to ensure equal access to high-quality educational content, especially in rural areas.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
Igra Plus can contribute to the ALF Network in North Macedonia by bringing a strong focus on youth wellbeing, digital balance, and community-based education.
Our organization has experience in organizing educational workshops, creative and cultural activities, outdoor programs, family-oriented initiatives, and sports events that encourage healthy lifestyles, social interaction, and personal development. We actively promote reading, play, physical activity, and the development of social and emotional skills as essential components of a balanced life in the digital age.
Within the Network, we can:
Share our research and field experience on the impact of excessive screen time on children and youth
Develop and implement joint projects that address digital wellbeing and intercultural dialogue
Engage local communities, schools, and families in awareness-raising activities
Offer innovative program models that combine education, culture, and outdoor engagement
Through these contributions, we aim to support the Network’s mission by fostering resilient, connected, and culturally open young generations.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
We would like to join the Anna Lindh Foundation Network in order to actively contribute to intercultural dialogue and cooperation in the Euro-Mediterranean region, particularly in the field of youth development and wellbeing.
As an NGO, Igra Plus is dedicated to promoting the psychophysical development, wellbeing, and healthy lifestyle habits of children and young people in today’s digital society. We recognize that excessive use of digital devices is a growing challenge that affects not only health, but also communication, social cohesion, and cultural exchange.
By joining the ALF Network, we aim to exchange knowledge, good practices, and innovative approaches with other organizations, while also strengthening our capacity to address shared regional challenges. We are especially interested in collaborating on initiatives that promote balanced use of technology, encourage face-to-face interaction, creativity, sports, and foster inclusive, culturally aware communities among young people.
