weave together the disciplines of movement
and embodiment with the immersive power of
new media and sensory engagement. Our
co-founders, Marina Ierides (Lamarina), an
experiential designer, and Ioanna
Palamidous, a performer and movement
educator and director, bring their unique expertise to
create transformative experiences.
Mission and Objectives
To create immersive performances, pioneer work in the field of performance art and performative installation and to push the boundaries between performer-audience experiences.
To push the general public's view of what a performance can be.
To create awareness around our senses and how we use our perception in everyday life.
Main Projects / Activities
"Sensory play and movement" - a site specific workshop on the engagement of the sense and their relation to movement.
Our first performance is in development.
How can you contribute to the Network in your country?
We can contribute both in Cyprus and Greece by opening up our work and approach to the general public. By producing our first performance we will provide in the development of the cultural sector in both countries, while, by organising workshops we can make art, new media, sensorial engagement and their intersections more accessible to the general public.
Why do you want to join the ALF Network?
We believe that the role of the ALF foundation in bringing closer cultural entities and actions across boarders is really important in the development and promotion of culture on an international scale. Therefore, we would also like to contribute with our work and benefit from the networking opportunity from meeting potential partners that will expand our work and further aid in the continuation of art and art-based activities for the community.
