General Information

- IFR is a not-for-profit institution and brings people and organisations together to reach a desired joint future through the design and realisation of relevant research, projects and activities. - Yearly financial volume of projects are 100.000 Euro, mainly financed by national funds and project beneficiaries - actions are mainly foresight projects, scenario planings, trainings and events  - main partners are industry representatives, policy makers, educational organizations and other NGOs

Mission and Objectives

IFR's aim is to help create a better future for all. We perform at three major levels:  - We design projects for shaping the future based on national and international knowledge  - We are delivering information and insight through events, seminars and tailor-made training sessions  - We prepare foresights and horizon-searches for defining and taking the actions for creating futures We enable decision makers, researchers and individuals who would like to be active in this field to strategically plan the future and continue their studies through assisting them in the utilization of the necessary technological tools.

Main Projects / Activities

- Ankara 2050 - foresight study for the city of Ankara - Healthcare 2050 - scenario based healthcare industry foresight for Turkish healthcare industry investment organization - Smart specialization in food and agriculture industry - addressing the future needs of a specific region and finding the most valuable investment areas for satisfying those needs in the medium-range future - PhD for competitiveness project: working with 8100 PhD students and regional industry organizations for using the scientific results of those researches for strengthening regional competitiveness - Camp Mars - www.marskampi.com - workshops for 7-15 years old kids for collaborative working and big problem solving techniques - Productivity and Tech event - https://www.gelecek.org.tr/post/verimlilik-ve-teknoloji-fuari - Reached more than 3500 high school students through 1-day seminars - organizing winter and summer boot camps for European-wide university students on a specific field of workshops and trainings like the future of humanity, tech-for-good and longevity
